Aged Fuding White Tea

From the Fujian Province of China, this Fuding White Tea is aged over 10 years. White tea, picked from the younger more delicate tea leaves, packed, stored, and aged to create a smooth and full-bodied flavor. The aging process of this tea increases its anti-oxidant power; hence the Chinese saying 'One-year tea, three-year medicine, seven-year treasure.'

This tea is capable of many steps. 1 - 2 TSP per 8 oz of nearly boiled water (~195 degrees) for 1 - 2 minutes, repeat many times as desired. Store used leaf in the refrigerator to prolong life.

For a softer smoother flavor, steep at a lower temperature for a longer time, for a more full-bodied cup - steep hotter and shorter.
